Used 06 Nissan Xterra needs work for sale in Jacksonville, FL

Needs new timing chain and chain guides. I’ve gotten estimates around $1800-$2000 or fix it yourself either way this engine could go another 200k miles.

I’ve owned this car since 2017 and it has been great to me. Drove it to Colorado and explored the state with it for 3 years then drove it back. Started to hear a chatter within the last year and then it slipped out of timing hasn’t been driven since. It is only just out of timing enough to be running very rough and it makes me not want to drive it. This thing will still turn over and drive down the road but not a good idea.

Buy it for parts, fix it yourself or haul it to your mechanic. 2k cash takes it nothing less. Not in a rush to sell, if it doesn’t sell by the time I have the money to fix it myself then I’ll keep it.
