Vehicle Description
Since photos the hood wasn't latched and flew open severely cracking windshield and bending hood.
From Colorado, little rust for mileage with replaced motor and significant maintenence. Extensive front end work by qualified mechanic who's relative owned it for many years and who did repairs before another relative owned it.
Work done within 2-5K miles ago:
Engine replaced but mechanic doesn't remember mileage and didn't keep paper work on replacement.
Transmission replaced.
R & L front wheel bearings.
Inner/outer tie rod assembly.
Upper/lower ball joints.
Sway bar linkages.
Brakes replaced 500 miles ago.
Hasn't been detailed but interior will clean up well. Descent rubber. 4WD low doesn't engage but just learned it's likely the actuator and either quite easy to service if you're a DIY type, or inexpensive to buy and easy to replace. Might get it done myself but vehicle is at sister's. Cracked windshield. Front doors don't open completely (80%) from dented fenders but could be bent out to clear completely. AC is reasonably cold and heat works good along with everything else. Drives very well.
