Vehicle Description
2005 Chevrolet Aveo hatchback. 5-speed manual transmission. 1.6L engine.
Runs ok, you can drive it down the street just fine, but it won't pass inspection because the check engine light is on. Code is P0342. I have tried replacing the camshaft position sensor connector and re-timing.
Has more additional problems than I can list here, but highlights are:
-crack in windshield (also prevents inspection)
-Front passenger side window doesn't work. (I think the issue is in the DRIVER'S side control panel.)
-ABS doesn't work. (need to replace both CV shafts to fix, which are included)
-Thumping from breaks
-air bag light is on
-rear windshield wiper doesn't work.
29 mpg. Well maintained by both me and the previous owner. Interior is in good shape. Comes with two spare alloy rims with all-season tires (snows are currently on car), the above mentioned CV shafts, a spare aluminum valve cover (but not the gasket needed to install it), and a few other miscellaneous parts.
