Vehicle Description
Moving cross country and selling my 06 Super High Top Long 158 WB Freightliner 3500 dually campervan sprinter with a tow package.
90k on replaced motor (OEM Mercedes Diesel) w/ paperwork & 5 year warranty. Clean title, smogged, recent full mechanical inspection.
Body has about 320k on it with tons of new parts (all 6 new tires, water pump, belts, pulleys, all fluids, windshield, door mechanisms, fuel lines, fan clutch, accelerator assembly, etc). Trans is solid, AC could be better but is cold.
Known issues: Sometimes does that weird door lock things these T1Ns do and has to be re-locked or locked manually. Sliding door could use an adjustment. Sliding and back back door use separate keys. We have had two of these, the locks and key situation is always funny. No real issues besides that. I have paperwork from a full inspection done about 6 months ago.
Interior build includes sink and water system with 25 gallon tank, bench seats that convert into a bed, outdoor lights all the way around, TV, fridge/freezer unit, 500 watts of solar, inverter, MPPT charge controller, 2 lithium ion batteries, added side window, swivel seats, extra row of seats, tow hitch, aftermarket stereo, backup camera, etc. Not shown, included heated shower unit with shower stall and toilet unit. DM me if you want specs for any of the electrical, will add to listing later when its in front of me.
Great campervan. has done us well. Aside from switching out these few parts mentioned above over the course of our ownership this thing has been all over the West Coast and shows no signs of quitting.
With the replaced million mile motor in it, this thing isn't going anywhere and has tons of life left. We ran a lucrative rental business with it as well over the summer on Outdoorsy when we weren't using it. If you're handy and can do some of the small upkeep and repairs yourself you as well may be able to do well with it. I think our best month was around $4,500 profit and our worst we broke even.
We are now moving to Florida where there isnt much of a campervan rental market so now looking to move on to other ventures.
