1924 Ford Model T Runabout Roadster with soft top.
You just don't see many Model T Roadsters and it's a rarity to find one in such good condition.
This little Model T Runabout with it's gorgeous stunning Black exterior and interior is such A GREAT SHOW CAR!
Mostly all original with its Henry Ford rugged steel body , hickory wood wheels , it's 177 CID inline four-cylinder engine and a two-speed planetary transmission.
It's undercarriage and it's paint and trim are in excellent condition thanks to it being undercover and in a museum for 30 years. The black hickory wooden spoke wheels with Ford center caps look very sharp.
This roadster is equipped with a Moto-Meter radiator cap at the front and a spare tire with cover on the rear. The windshield ( which is horizontally split), the car’s lights and the running boards are all in excellent condition.
Inside, the black bench seat is excellent while the floor beneath the driver and passenger has a black rubberized FORD floor mat. The black instrument panel sports an AACOA badge (which it won sometime in its life) looks fantastic while the four-spoke black steering wheel is in very good order as are the inner door panels and shift lever.
The custom top is “top-of-the-line” heavy canvas and looks almost new but does have a few tears in it that are mended in order to keep the top looking nice while retaining the antiquity of the vehicle, The two clear rear windows have metal frames. This car also includes a full set of side curtains.
What's not original? A gravity gas gauge, a new battery, 4 new tires and a new wiring harness.
What's been refurbished? The generator, the starter, the carburetor, 4 coil boxes with new capacitor and points and the ignition switch was repaired .
