Vehicle Description
Price just lowered by another $1,000!
This started out as a friends project car, but he never got around to fixing it. I began by confirming the VIN located on the top of the left frame rail and registered the car. I have the title, in my name, and it is clear. The car does not appear to have been in an accident. I have rebuilt the engine (and components) which has less than 1,000 miles on it. replaced the clutch, all brakes, front suspension (including hangars), rewired entire car, repaired wooden roof staves and re-covered roof. Headliner installed, front and rear seat re-upholstered. I have replaced all the glass with laminated safety glass (including the wind wings). Radiator was replaced when engine rebuilt. Tires were new, when I bought it, but over the last 10 years they are showing signs of age wear. It also has new working cowl lamps. I also located a model a trunk (which is mounted behind the rear mounted spare wheel). I made the truck rack and it looks ok, but a purist would want the original rack. I took the windshield wiper off but have not rebuilt it. It has a functional horn, but is not the original. I have the metal trim for the inside of the doors. I have made the door panels and have the door seam seals, but have not put them on. I also have material for the rear interior panels and the front kick panels, but not installed. It is a great daily driver and is ready for paint (aged blue paint which is faded and has surface rust). I also have a lot of new and used parts that will go with the car. The front shocks are installed, but the rear shocks are seized and off the car.
