The iconic 1932 Ford has been one of the most popular vehicles to customize for decades and this one is no exception.
This car was extremely well-built combining the original '32 Ford style with modern reliability making it not only a great looking car, but one you can drive anywhere.
The 5-window Kilbourne body is in excellent shape and has a 2.5 inch chop. It is painted in a gloss Black paint that is absolutely beautiful and is show quality. The hood, grill shell and running boards are steel with the rest of the car being fiberglass. The underside of the fenders have been Rhinolined for extra protection. The car was built to look like a steel car with correct brackets underneath and other subtle details. Outside you will see a lot of the original styling including the grill and chrome bumpers. It has stock-style headlights, along with the bar, and the turn signals have been incorporated inside of them giving a clean look while being functional. The rear taillights are from a 1950 Pontiac and mounted below the trunk lid. All of the glass is in excellent condition and has been tinted. The windshield is framed with stainless trim giving a nice custom look. Both the hood and side panels are louvered giving it a "old school" hot rod touch. The wheels are blacked out with "dog dish" chrome center caps accentuating the overall look of the car. The wheels are wrapped with BF Goodrich tires that still have a lot of life left in them.
It is powered by a professionally built 350ci 375hp motor that has been balanced/blue printed with only 500 miles since completion. It is topped with chrome and billet, but the theme of the car was kept true to the black and chrome theme by incorporating things like the finned valve covers keeping it sharp and clean. The air cleaner is from a vintage Cadillac that is also painted black. A new dual exhaust has been installed and the car sounds as good as it looks. The Turbo 350 automatic transmission is connected to the floor shifter inside getting the power back to the Winters quick-change rear-end. Inside you will find angle-cut gears encased in a chrome center section. The suspension consists of an I-beam front axle, chrome shocks, a 4-bar link and adjustable coilovers in back. It rides down the road well and is a comfortable driver. The front disc brakes have aluminum dust covers accentuating the look while also being functional.
The interior is finished in all black with an adjustable bench seat. The dash is painted Black like the body and contains Stewart Warner gauges in an engine turned bezel encasement. The lower dash section contains the Vintage Air/Heat controls, chrome vents and billet knobs/switches for the headlights and other controls. Coming off the dash is a 1940 Ford steering wheel on top of a tilt steering column. For your listening pleasure there is an AM/FM/CD player complete with a full navigation system that is conveniently mounted in the center with an easy-to-see screen. The Lokar shifter is located dead center on the floor and moves through the gears smoothly. There are also controls for the power windows and cut-off switch for the battery in the trunk located below.
This is an exceptional '32 that is available in the showroom for well under the cost of duplication at $52,500.00 with financing available at $482.00 per month with 20% down and approved credit.*
* Estimated payment amounts are based on a 96-month term, 6.99% APR, and 20% down payment. (We will also finance tax, title and license; not included in example).
