1949 Oldsmobile I have owned for 31 years. It is the largest of Oldsmobiles of that year has the first year of the Rocket V-8
engine that Oldsmobile produced. Equipped with the Hydramatic automatic transmission. The car has new upholstery of correct materials of that year, all chrome was rechromed at a cost of about $9,200.00. The radio was rebuilt a few years back the car was repainted in the original factory color. The clock was repaired for about $ 90 a few years ago. The engine runs great with the carburetor rebuilt, and a York 6volt airconditioner with the under the dash module
was installed from a 1950 Oldsmobile works great. Transmission was drained a new filter fresh transmission oil installed last year. At my age of 80 I am parting with 3 or 4 of my old cars as it is hard to keep up with them I do not drive them enough which is never good to not drive them! The only rust is the normal surface rust just like all new cars have on the underside.
