Vehicle Description
1950 Custom Shoebox Convertible. $32,000 OBO. Color: Casino Cream. Flat v8, three on tree. Originally purchased in Nashville, October 1950. Have original paperwork / title.
Good: both water pumps replaced, original engine, new tires from Coker, new gas tank and float, carburetor cleaned, valve replaced. Off frame restore in 1992 (have pictures). Comes with many 1st place trophies (approximately 20). Garage kept / covered. No rips or tears in seats however has accumulation of spray which can be removed as shown in picture of front seat - passenger side is what it should look like when cleaned. Starts and runs. Original spare tire in trunk - looks brand new. This car was babied.
Bad: one paint chip base of trunk lid, one small dent - no paint break - PDR should take care of such. Tail light fuse board needs replaced as metal bracket that holds fuse broke - therefore no brake lights at the moment - shoebox central has abundance of parts. During restoration odometer stopped functioning as it should. Mileage right at 49,000.
Reason for selling: It needs a home to where it can be driven, shown and love like it should be plus I need my garage back. I’m asking $32,000 however am open to reasonable offers. No trade or payments. Cash only. Scammers - don’t bother.
