Used 1950 Pontiac Cheiftain FS/FT for sale in North Chicago, IL

This is a decent survivor. It starts, runs, drives, and stops. I went thru some medical issues last year and didn't get much done. I did replace a freeze plug, and replace the battery (not a 12 volt system). 268.2 cu in (4.4 L) L-head I8 (1949–1951) all of that to say inline 8cyl. Don't ask me what's wrong with it, I am listing what I know here. It needs back brakes shoes, I purchased the new ones and will include if price is right. This should be done immediately after getting it home as the last time I drove it, it dragged a bit. The other only issue is i believe it needs either a motor mount or a adjustment on the clutch cable. When you bear down or take a turn fast, it almost sounds like it isn't fully engaged. Take it slow and it doesn't happen at all. It shifts thru all 3 gears and reverse smoothly. That's all I know about the car. There shouldn't be any problem cranking her up. It has the Pontiac emblem that lights up on the hood, how cool is that? It's a nice car that only needs tinkering. I'm can negotiate a bit if you have cash however, If you send me a ridiculous offer, I won't respond. And im not looking to reminisce about it. You want it?
