Vehicle Description
All original Montana truck that was originally sold and used in Absorkee. I am the third owner. The truck has very low mileage (44,750) because it was stored in a barn for around 50 years. It has been completely gone through so it is in excellent shape mechanically, with a new master brake cylinder and radial tires. Everything else on the truck is original. The exterior had some body work and was recently repainted to the original color. Montana did not salt the roads in winter until very recently so the truck has absolutely no rust. It also has been parked undercover for most of its life.
Options include 4 speed manual transmission with a floor shifter (vs 3-speed on the column), heavy duty cartridge oil filter, heavy duty oil bath air filter, ash tray, cigarette lighter, 5 windows, high side boards on the bed, and a bed color which matches that of the cab. The truck bed has the original oak boards which have had penafin put on but have not been restored. Everything works -- lights, turn signals, vacuum wipers, brakes, emergency brake, heater, etc. The motor idles so quietly that some people think the engine isn't running. The truck turns heads and brings smiles where ever it goes.
I love driving the truck but I am about to turn 70 and am downsizing, so I've priced the truck to sell. It's one of the very best Dodge pickups you will find, especially at this price.
