Vehicle Description
1953 Ford Victoria 2 door hardtop coupe: This listing is for a 1953 Ford Victoria Hardtop Coupe. The car has all glass except front passenger window, (window is there for pattern). Note pictures 6 and 7, this shows the rear seat side panels right and left that include the window crank, ashtray, the 3 stars and the arm rest. (to find these panels used they will cost three to four hundred dollars each. very rare.) The stars alone will go up to one hundred dollars each when you can find them.
Rust: The floor pan needs to be replaced as well as the rockers. The car's doors have rust out bottoms and need new door pans, The lower panel right behind the door needs new sheet metal. If you know your way around a Mig Welder you will have fun with this car. I bought the car with the idea of using a Mustang donor car for the interior and running gear as well as the disk brakes. (check Mustang salvage listings) The headliner bows are still in the car and the rear seat side panels as mentioned above. In addition the car has it's original radio, clock, cigarette lighter and glove box, A set of 1953 anniversary (Ford 50th Year) hubcaps as pictured and most of the exterior chrome needed to complete the car, including a set of bumpers.
