Vehicle Description
1953 starlight 5 passenger coupe
I have had this car for 35 years , I purchased it on 5/9/1984 , I am selling it now because of too many cars and too little time
This is a California car For all practical purposes there is no rust, floor boards and trunk are rust free
Started restoration, and then life happened !
Was in good running order when disassembled
Most of the metal work is done, IE hammer and dolley along with metal shaping with torch . Using torch to shrink and stretch as necessary to bring sheet metal back to its original shape .
Has original drivetrain, IE engine and transmission and differential
The car is complete ,Except for the removal of some of the badges and script
Again the picture is of the car assembled it has been taken apart to do the body and paint work.
I have a full one gallon can of acrylic enamel paint that is the original factory color.
The car also comes with a newer larger displacement Studebaker engine, a289 cu / in 225 hp 4 barrel v8
Original motor is a 232 cu/in 120 hp 2 barrel v8
I have all the maintenance records and receipts going back to when I purchased of the car in 1984
I have a clean title, and all registrations since 84
The best way to reach me is by phone
