Vehicle Description
1955 Chevrolet 210 - 4 Door Sedan:
This is a Barn Find. This car has been in my family since 1955. The car is complete but stripped as I was working on restoring it but ran out of time and money. All lead paint is stripped off the body and it is primered but that work was done 20 years ago. The original mileage is 80K but the floor boards need to be replaced as well as areas in the trunk and there are a few dents and dings otherwise really straight body for its age.
The upside: All original car with original V8 and Powerglide transmission. All parts are there to restore, trim, glass, decals, seats (not shown in pictures but in storage on the property).
The downside: The car needs full restoration, the motor while original was rebuilt and bored to a 283ci in the 70's. Motor ran when I pulled it to start restoration. No pinkslip and no longer in the DMV system. I can give a bill of sale but that is about it so new buyer would have to work with DMV on new registration.
