Vehicle Description
will also trade in on a 1968 to 1972 big block roadrunner, coronet, old hot rods, pontiac, desoto.i can trade both cars or i can add cash to make up the difference in these cars.
this is an all original 55 Coronet that has been stored inside for more than 25 years. the only rust, minor, is near the battery tray, a small spot on the drivers fender (above the battery tray) and a small spot on the hood. the body is in excellent condition, interior is nice- but not perfect. the back seat still has the original plastic cover and the upper part of the front seats have the plastic covers. the front seat bottom has the cotton pad no material and it has a brand new carpet kit installed. the original 270 motor and auto trans are in the car and the motor will turn over by hand. lots of extra parts in the trunk, original hub caps, side skirts. Wipers, defrost, fan, signals, lights and power seat all work. all glass is excellent, brand new 6 volt battery. front V emblem and rear tail light buckets were just re-chromed and are excellent.
it has 14" wire wheels, and a set of very nice original hubcaps, and a set of 18" aluminum wheels. new rear package tray and new speakers (no radio yet), new wheel adapters to install the 18" wheels, new rear brake shoes (in the package).
it also comes with a 1969 Plymouth satellite 318/904 trans combo that had approx 50,000 miles on it and has been upgraded to an aluminum 4 barrel intake manifold with a new water pump, thermostat, plugs, plug wires, cap and rotor. exhaust manifolds, pulleys and brackets have been sand blasted and painted with high temp cast iron paint, the holley carb is just sitting on the motor and will need to be rebuilt. the motor is not for sale by itself but i'll take 500.00 off the price of the car if you don't want it. right now it is a great candidate for an all original restoration that has very nice paint.
i can send pics of anything else you may want.
please do not send lowball offers- the price is pretty firm, i'm just offering it for a short time in case someone wants to keep it all original.
also available is my 74 MBZ 450 sl convertible (valued at 12,000) that can be added. sold by itself or traded. pics and details upon request - 86000 miles, runs very nice, clean.
