Used 1955 Ford F100 for sale in Satellite Beach, FL

This is a great driver-quality custom pickup. Bright yellow paint stands out in a crowd and draws attention and positive comments wherever it goes. This truck was featured as a center-fold article in the local "Old School Biker" magazine (a copy will be included with the sale). The paint is in great, but not perfect shape and has been well-maintained and garage-kept. There are a couple of small spots of rust under the paint if you look hard, but nothing major (small spot on hood and behind fender). Custom features include power brakes, with a complete new disk brake conversion up front using the original spindles and arms and new drums (complete set of brakes from the backing plates to the drums and everything in between) out back. Front calipers are painted a matching yellow and the master cylinder was replaced with a new dual reservoir disk brake master cylinder when the front brakes were installed. A new mechanical brake light switch was also installed.

Inside features functioning A/C system (R134a), power windows (using a switch built into the original-style window cranks) custom bucket seats and an overhead console with "F100" embossed on it and a JVC receiver with Bluetooth installed in it. There are speakers installed overhead as well as in the kick panels and behind the seats for great sound while cruising. Between the seats is a nice center console with dual cup holders and cushy arm rest. This F100 also features a Dakota Digital dash, custom tilt steering wheel and shifter as well as an alarm system for that extra security. And did we mention the A/C?!?

Under the hood you'll find an all-Ford drivetrain with a correct Y-block V-8 cooled with a electric fan in the factory shroud, and features a 4v Edelbrock carb on a factory intake, Mallory Unilite ignition with spike surpression, Accel Supercoil and Accel 8.8mm wires, chrome valve covers and new ceramic coated headers dumping into dual exhausts with a crossover pipe and turndowns at the rear for a nice mellow sound. Power goes to a solid and reliable FMX 3-speed automatic trans. This engine starts on time, every time.

The wheels are 18" 5-spoke Ridlers, with 225/50 front and 255/55 rear tires and includes air shocks for a great hot-rod stance without an overly harsh ride. The bumpers have been removed and custom rear valance installed, along with an LED 3rd brake light and LED rear brake and tail lights for safety.

It has a clean Florida title and is ready to go to a new happy home for a fair price.
