Extensive restoration starting in 2009 and has been part of a private collection pictured since then. Occasionally driven to the local car shows. Has not seen rain in over 10 years.

1955 Mercury Monterey Station Wagon; the 1955 was the start of the second generation of Monterey's. The Monterey Wagon was an 8 passenger family hauler. The stock motor was a 292 cubic inch motor mated to a Merc-O-Matic three speed automatic transmission.

This Mercury is an excellent toy to load your family into and cruise to the beach. Put your surf boards or kayaks on the roof rack, coolers in the back and enjoy the day. This car was restored to enjoy and have fun. This would also be an amazing piece for advertising your company, not many as nice as this piece, painstakingly brought to a level that the owner demands in all of his collection.

292 V8 engine, also fresh. Factory A/C mounted in the front floor just in front of bench seat.

During the restoration as you can see there was virtually no budget, all new chrome, that was tens of thousands, all new rubber seals complete chassis and all windows, done right. Factory fresh chrome roof rack for your surf board or luggage. Interior is flawless 8 Pass, beautiful correct green materials from the factory, all handles, and roll up windows work perfect, glass all good. Correct wheels and factory hub caps/ white walls maybe 100 miles on them. There is not one detail that has been missed, runs, starts and drives like new. It has been in a heated private collection while always being maintained for the last 10 plus years. EVERYTHING WORKS!!!

There are no leaks; I would drive this cross country with no hesitations. Pictures really do not do this justice, it is a must have to add to your collection, none nicer or brought to this level. Complete records, it would require well into the 6 figures financially to duplicate this. The records are approximately one foot thick all invoices with great detail, no expense spared.

Engine bay; air cleaner all 100% correct, no expense spared, nothing currently online that matches this package. The realistic asking price is $45,000 and we are looking for serious only. If we agree on price there could be additional luggage and spares!!!
