1955 Pontiac convertible project car. If the ad is showing then it is still for sale. May consider interesting trades.

The trim tag on this car shows it to be a hardtop but in looking at the car all of the convertible specific parts, mounts, brackets, etc look to be installed from a donor car a long time ago and they did a pretty good job as it has fooled most. I do have a convertible trim tag that can be included with the car. The car had been sitting at a hot rod and custom shop for a long time so chances are they did the conversion.

Has a nice tinted convertible windshield in it and the correct Pontiac convertible top frame bolted in place with the dome lamp.

With that in mind I have lowered the price to 5000.00 firm for just the car or 7500.00 firm with the list of extra parts below. Dont bother wasting my time with offers . Now that I have a good bit of the chrome the car is more desirable for me to fix if it doesn't sell.
Needs complete restoration but a good candidate to restore or customize. Most of the interior and chrome is missing.

Underhood is complete and original. Currently not getting fire but engine spins freely with ignition switch.

Floors are surface rusted but usable other than right rear passenger which will need a piece and brace.

Does have the correct combination x frame and perimeter frames that was exclusive to the Pontiac.

Extra parts not on the car that I have picked up since buying and listing that will be included at the 5500. price. Not interested in selling any of the individual parts.

Rechromed front and rear bumpers , 6 pieces total.
Rechromed hood waterfall trim and rechromed top of quarter waterfall trim.
Rechromed outer door handles.
Polished header moldings. These are the 2 wide pieces on top of the windshield frame that the top sits on.
Polished set of hubcaps. [2 shown on car].
New rear shocks.
New trunk weatherstrip.
Very nice hood in primer.
Nice instrument cluster.
Pair of used headlight bezels, 1 headlight mount ring and 2 spare buckets.
Pair of used tail lights complete.
1 back up light complete and 1 back up light trim.
Used 3 pieces of trim that make the upper grill. They will need rechroming.
Gas door accessory trim piece.
Used inside door handles and window cranks.
Extra pair of froot parking lights assemblies complete plus 1 more lense.
2 lower pieces of exterior windshield molding trim [shown in pic].
