Vehicle Description
HISTORY
Purchased two years ago from Texas (after it’s owner died) and transplanted to Minnesota. After intending to turn this into a project I realized I just don’t have time or the space. Time to sell it…it’s clogging up my garage!
This is a fantastic example of a Power Wagon! The mean stance, the beefy look, the rough and tumble attitude it conveys is awesome. You don’t go fast in this truck, you simply look good!
EXTERIOR OF TRUCK
Rare Power Wagon! Not many left in the world anymore and their values keep rising!
Beautiful Green tone exterior color.
All new oak bed and refurbished rails
Authentic ’57 Power Wagon wheels. No flats or lost air pressure!
Windshield replaced; all windows pure - no cracks or blemishes.
Spare tire on passenger side
Heavy duty winch (not connected presently).
INTERIOR OF TRUCK
Black interior.
Vintage Power Wagon interior.
All gauges working properly.
hidden satellite antenna and radio
Restored interior including: dash, gauges, bench seat, back oval window, headliner & door panels.
4 point safety harness for seatbelts.
MECHANICAL
Upgraded rebuilt & bored over POLY 318 V8
Power Steering!
Front disc brakes
New Edelbrock carb
New front wheel bearings
Transmission strong!
Transfer case has new bearings.
New brake lines, master cylinder, wheel cylinder.
6 volt system. Painless wiring harness and painless wiring shielding kit.
Rhino lined floor boards
POR15 undercoating applied to frame and undercarriage
dual exhaust
secret kill switch so you know it’ll stay where you park it.
KNOWN ISSUES
The cab body and hood paint appears to be single stage and is faded from age;
The overall body work is in good shape, but certain areas will need some attention;
The V8 engine prevents the use of the original winch drive shaft; a solid stainless 3/4 DD shaft was used in place for the winch to be functional instead of the original front driveshaft;
The radiator cap doesn’t create a tight seal any longer and could use being replaced.
The wiper blade doesn’t make contact with the windshield to provide rain wiping services. It’s never been driven in the rain so not a repair I cared to attend to.
The left rear turn signal doesn’t work. The running light works, just not the turn signal.
