Vehicle Description
Life has changed lately after my lady passed and lost my enthusiasm for some of my projects, plus I'd like part of my garage back. Not to mention I'm getting older and would like to lighten my load. Not in any hurry to sell but one of them should go, I'll keep the other. 1959 Thunderbird, good running 300hp 352" engine has been rebuilt, auto trans. No leaks, no smoke, good compression, Edelbrock carb but have the original. Lots of the hard work is done but still has a way to go. New: headliner, interior (less door panels), carpet, shocks, tires, exhaust, heater core, weatherstripping, master cylinder, chrome alternator conversion. Rebuilt power steering. All electrics work except clock and power driver's seat (not getting juice). NO RUST and have the original fender skirts and hubcaps, not on car; had an extra set of '57 hubcaps and like them better. Original owner's manual. Original paint, 112k on the odometer. $9k/obo.
Next up is my 1957 Fairlane 500 Skyliner, retractable hardtop convertible, very rare. Rebuilt 312", auto trans with new rear seal. Was originally a standard trans and still has the clutch pedal system. Has the automatic trans dash. Good brakes, new front tires, Edelbrock carb. An excellent restoration platform. All top motors work, needs linkage adjusted, have an appointment scheduled with a gentleman in Tacoma that only works on the tops of Skyliners but he won't be able to get to it until fall. Floorboards were replaced but not professionally so that needs attention as does a small amount of rust behind drivers rear wheel. Rockers, doors all solid as is the body. Have new complete front end rebuilding kit to install. Cracked windshield but I have a good factory tinted replacement. Both door glass cracked. Like I said, this is a project that runs and drives. $15k/obo. Serious only please. I hate to put these on the market but my get up and go got up and went. These are both amazing cars that will go up in value forever. Serious only please, I get enough scammers and dreamers. Will not consider any offers over the internet, must be here with cash in hand. Too many silly offers from folks trying to get something for nothing without even looking at the cars.
