Vehicle Description
I am selling my 1960 Edsel Villager. It has been restored with a complete rebuild of the engine (352FE), transmission (3 speed Ford-O-Matic.or Cruise-O-Matic (I can't remember, but I think both names are the same transmission) and Suspension. It is the 2 row, six passenger wagon of which 216 were ever made (another 59 3-row 9 passenger wagons were made) this brings the total production of the 1960 Model year to 275! I don't use the word rare, but scarce would sum it up nicely. It comes with A/C and I've been told that it is factory, but you be the judge. The chrome air-box inside of the car has a Ford logo, but that is because an "Edsel" badge was never made.
The White wall tires are the correct style for this year vehicle. They are bias-Ply and show a little age, but still have excellent tread left. My guess is that they have about 5,000 miles on them. The interior door panels were remade, but are incomplete as far as the silver oval pattern applique go at the bottom of the door. I have a packet of them, but never installed them.
I'm sure that you will have a bunch of questions concerning this car, so I'll answer them to the best of my ability and possibly post them to this ad. Phone calls are the best for me. Please leave a message so that I can contact you. In most cases, I'll call right back.
Thanks for reading,
Sean
Scammers; I won't be responding to your secret email addresses (so that your SO doesn't find out). I also don't respond to "IS THIS STILL AVAILABLE". If the ad is up, it is still available.
