Vehicle Description
1960 Lincoln Continental is up for sale. Only 1461 units were made.
According to the CLASSIC.COM average price for this car is 36 000$, i'm willing to sell it at a much more affordable price.
It's a very solid car which has a strong body and has no rust underneath it. Mostly because it was located in California its whole existence. Runs, Drives, Stops.
The good:
- Swapped engine from 1963 Lincoln continental with a minimum wear. 10000 miles on it approximately
- New fuel tank with new sending unit
- New fluids like engine oil, transmission oil, coolant, brake fluid.
- Coolant system is in pristine condition. No leaks, no rust whatsoever. It never had any water in it.
- Bleeded and operational brakes. Rebuilt Master cylinder
- New 4 barrel carburetor, carburetor spacer and gaskets.
- New air filter. (Original air filter housing comes with the car)
- All exterior lights are in operational condition. Turning signals, tail lights, head lights (Low beams, high beams)
- All interior lights are in operational condition.
- All power windows in operational condition.
- Front power seat in operational condition.
- New battery
- Clean Colorado title
The bad:
- The car might need a new fuel pump. It keep stalling after 30-60 minutes of work. Carb is dry.
- Car is missing blower motor
The Ugly:
- Windshield has a crack and the passenger door window has some holes.
- Interior needs work: Front seat needs to be reupholstered. Ceiling needs to be stitched up. Dashboard has cracks. Need a new floor carpet.
- Paint has some rusty spots here and there.
- Front passenger side quarter panel has a collision damage.
- Exhaust pipes are pretty rusty
- Rusty trunk floor
- Tranny has a small leak at the cover. I have gasket and filter to fix that.
Car drives really smooth and brakes are surprisingly strong for a 4 drum brakes wheels. Its a real diamond on the road.
