Used 1961 International Scout 80 for sale in Bozeman, MT

A "rolling restoration" of a 1961 International Harvester Scout 80. This is the first year of the scout. These are very rare vehicles, especially since VW is making an all electric Scout in 2 years. I've completed all but a few things to get this running, new tires, powder coated wheels, new brakes, clutch, fuel tanks and lines, carburetor, both floor pans new, powder coated bumpers, new muffler, new shocks, new e-brake cable, seat recovered professionally, roof rust repaired, etc. I've had the fluids replaced, transfer case, oil, transmission and both differentials.

The front differential needs maintenance. I will be replacing the body to frame bushings and rewiring the entire vehicle soon. All three of these things will effect the price I'm asking. Recently started stripping and epoxy priming the roof and entire body. This has effected the price.

It is running and driving. This vehicle is complete and all original (to my knowledge). This sale includes the original fuel pump and carburetor, which would both need rebuilds to install. There is very little rust remaining, just pin holes on the quarter panels and a large hole on the drivers side door.

Now its time for stripping, prime and paint.
