This is a factory radio delete car with the original chrome radio block off plate in place. The exterior is finished in two stage Spies/Hecker as is the underside of the car. The grille, trim, bumpers, mouldings, brightwork, and emblems are either NOS or restored original parts. The drivetrain includes a 400 SBC engine, aluminum intake manifold, Holley 3310 carburetor, MSD ignition, Ed Henneman equal length ceramic coated headers, M/T cast valve covers, Canton oil pan, and a true 2 1/2 inch aluminized exhaust system. The M-20 Muncie four speed is newly built and all accompanying components (flywheel, clutch, pressure plate, release bearing, pedal assembly, and Z-bar) are also new. The GM ten bolt differential has posi-traction and 3:42 gearing. The GM X body front disc brake assembly and stainless lines were sourced through the The Right Stuff. The front suspension consists of Church Boys upper and lower control arms, and a Church bar (front sway bar). The Chris Alston Varishock conversion (adjustable coil over front shocks) was also supplied by Church Boys as well as the Snokes Metal Barn upper shock tower brace, and all accompanying Church Boys hardware. The front end has had a complete alignment performed by Auto Service of Old Saybrook, CT. The rear suspension includes parallel mono leaf springs, coil over shocks, custom built traction bars and weld in frame connectors. The rear steel wheels are from a 1962 Biscayne station wagon. 1967 dog dish hubcaps are included on all four color coded wheels. The tires are all new, This is a well built, low mileage, unique Gen 1 Chevy II, handles well, has crisp braking characteristics, shifts perfectly, and is quick.
