Vehicle Description
1964 Chevrolet Corvair Monza Convertible. Originally a Southern car. Was purchased and brought to Illinois in 2001. Has been garaged and covered since.
Mechanically it's in great condition. It starts right up and the engine runs strong. The transmission seems to shift well too, but I only took it out of the garage for the pictures.
With the exception of the windshield washer fluid pump, everything electrical seems to work on the car. I'm not sure what the deal is with the washer pump, but I can hear it running when I push the button. No fluid is coming out, I plan to investigate further.
The body is in good condition. Almost no rust, although there are a few scratches/dings. No broken windows. The convertible top is intact. I suspect it's not the original top because it's in such good condition. The cover for the top when it's down needs to be replaced.
Interior is in fair condition. As shown in the pictures there is a very large tear in the driver's seat.
