Vehicle Description
Hello, I've decided to sell my 1964 Comet. I've owned it for many years, but it has not been started in probably 5 years or so. You know the story.life, finances, and priorities changed along the way, and it's time to let someone else enjoy her.
The car has a few rust spots on the body (in the usual places), but they haven't changed in many years, since it spent a lot of time in a garage, or at least covered. This car does have surface rust here or there underneath, but it is not a rust bucket, and will make a great car for restoration in my opinion. Or heck, just refresh or replace the basic stuff, and drive it as is. I have most, if not all of the trim pieces in the trunk. The interior is not terrible, but it has no carpet or headliner (on the plus side I already spend many hours cleaning/scraping the floor.
I probably forgot a few things, but here is what I recall off the top of my head:
302 professionally rebuilt mail-order engine with mild cam for the street (less than 1,000 miles on it)
C-4 automatic transmission with shift kit (originally manual trans)
Ford 8-inch Detroit Locker differential
Milodon deep oil pan
MSD electronic distributor
rebuilt manual steering box
non-power drum brakes (needs new soft lines)
no A/C
If you are interested, I know that you may have more questions, or need specific pictures. I will be more than willing to discuss with you.
