Classic VW Beetle, last year of the small window bugs
Had this car since 1970, started restoration but medical issues kept me from finishing
Started with the the upper and lower pans that were in great condition, epoxy upper and lower pans
Front end completely rebuilt, new king and link pins, new steering box, new damper and shocks, new bearings, drums, brakes and hardware, wheel cylinders and hoses, alignment all complete.
Transmission completely rebuilt, seals, gaskets, boots, bearings, drums, trans mounts, brakes and shocks. Housing fly cut for 200 mm flywheel
Custom carb doors installed in engine compartment
New German window regulators, new one piece door glass, side glass and windshield
New Italian front and rear fenders, NOS German body rubber, door, glass and fender beading
New NOS German clutch, parking break cables and Bowden tube
New Bosch Starter, headliner and carpet kit
Original Calif. black license plates and clean title
1964 1200 engine, runs but needs rebuild
1972 1600 AE engine full flowed case, runs strong, custom engine test, rebuild stand on wheels
Tow bar and lamp, many new parts, tools and books
Needs some body work at left quarter panel and a paint job
