Vehicle Description
1965 Ford F-100 Custom Cab. First year of Ford's Twin I-Beam suspension!
1965 Ford F100 Custom Cab, V8, Custom Two-Tone paint! I can't call the body and paint in perfect condition but it is in remarkable shape.
This truck has been in my family for 46 years. Under the hood is the original 352 V8 engine mated to a ‘Three on the Tree’ transmission with rare automatic overdrive. Currently the overdrive cable is detached but is included in the sale.
Everything is original inside the Custom Cab including the gauge cluster (in working condition – no cracks or splits), all 4 original wheels along with the ‘Dog Dish’ hubcaps, stock AM radio (currently detached) and even the original Fomoco washer fluid bag. I’ve included photos of all the original parts.
It was repainted its original colors in 1993 (Sandshell Beige/Wimbledon White). A good portion of the last 25 years has been kept in climate-controlled storage while I was in the Service.
The original engine still hums through dual exhaust pipes that were added in 1993. With a new battery, she fires up every time. The brushed aluminum wheels with Grand Prix Performace GT tires have less than 500 miles on them.
Kelly Blue Book indicates this truck is worth at least $25,000.
However, first gear in the transmission is damaged. It is drivable but will need to be addressed. Because of this I am taking over $5,000 off the asking price.
I have tried to describe this truck and its history to the best of my ability. If you have any questions, please feel free to message me and I will try to reply quickly. If you are in the Pacific Northwest, I am happy to show you the pickup if you're willing to make the drive.
I am including a photo of the warranty tag and decoding here:
F10 – F-100 4×2
D – 352ci V8
K – Kansas City assembly plant
129 – Long-wheelbase
TM – Sandshell Beige/Wimbledon White
F100 – F-100 4×2, 5,000-pound GVW
D – Light beige crush vinyl/medium beige ladder pattern woven plastic trim
81 – Conventional cab
B – Three-speed manual transmission with overdrive
A8 – Dana/Spicer 44 locking rear axle
74 – Seattle ordering district

Paypal is highly preferred however I can discuss payment methods with interested buyers. Transportation of the truck will have to be handled by the buyer.
Thank you for your interest!
