Vehicle Description
PRICE JUST REDUCED!
1965 Ford Thunderbird Convertible. I rescued this car out of a garage here in South Florida last year, it had been parked since 2008. Sometime around 2006 it had an engine fire, owner had it repaired (at a cost of $4000+), but the electrical wiring harness was never replaced. Now it is!
This is what I have done to the car since last year:
Complete Engine Top End rebuild by Ted Oszkandy (famed head and engine builder in South Florida)
New pushrods and valvetrain
New Fuel Tank, fuel pump and fuel lines
New wiring harness
New brake lines, new master cylinder, rebuilt brake booster, new brake calipers front, and rebuilt rear brakes.
New Aluminum radiator with dual electric fans, new 185 degree thermostat, and new water pump
All necessary relays replaced for operation of convertible top and trunk lid
All new hydraulic lines for operation of convertible top and trunk lid
Electrical system has been completely refurbished and upgraded
New Alternator
All new belts and coolant hoses
All four tires are brand new
News windshield washer pump and reservoir
New KILMAT flooring insulation, and new ACC carpets
The car was originally white with dark red interior, and a white convertible top. At one time the car was painted bright red, and that is the current color of the exterior.
I have over 300+ hours invested in bringing this beautiful car back to life, unfortunately me and my classic car friends have lost our warehouse, so I need to sell a couple of my cars, and this is one of them. I have priced the car very fair, it still needs some cosmetic upgrades, but mechanically and electrically the car is now even better than when it left the factory in 1965. Also, the car has Kelsey Hayes spoke wheels, but it also comes with a set of original hubcaps.
I have a ton of records for the car, including just about every receipt for the last 40+ years. I also have every single manual ever printed for the 1965 Ford Thunderbird. Please contact me for more information, the car is registered and titled in my name, with a clear title.
Will consider other classic car or truck trades (Not Convertibles, it has to be something I can park in my driveway).
