Used 1965 Mustang coupe - cars & trucks - by owner - vehicle automotive... for sale in Gwinn, MI

Very nice 1965 coupe. Automatic with 200ci 6cyl. Not a concourse car but very nice. Car was born in San Jose, California, grew up in Las Vegas, Nevada then brought to the UP of Michigan. It has never seen a Michigan winter. Since it was brought to upper Michigan 32 years ago it has spent most of it's life in a dehumidified garage. The exterior color is the somewhat rare Vintage Burgundy (shows deep red in flash pictures / bright sunshine for some reason). Took a few pictures in the shade to show the true color. All pictures are recent of this car excluding historical of last paint / restore. Current paint job the car was taken down to bare metal, with front clip, windshield, rear window etc. removed. Painted base / clearcoat. Interior is black vinal with the rare split bench seat, Mustang buckets with fold down center armrest. Car is equip with Air conditioning (requires recharge)and power steering both rare options on the 6 cyl. Have restored the car to as close to original as possible. Some mods (all reversible) original parts go with the car if you want them. The car currently has a 1969 head / exhaust manifold (far superior to the original), It also sports a progressive Weber "Holly" carb utilizing original aircleaner etc. (improved preformance / economy). I put the 5 dial gauge package in the car (5 dial where only on GTs in 1965) for no other reason then I like the 5 dial. A restored original (falcon style) gauge package along with instructions to reverse the mod. included. The engine was overhauled approx. 50,000 miles ago. Trans overhauled approx. 40,000 miles ago by AMMCO transmission. Totally dependable could drive it back to California tomorrow. Perfect car to upgrade to a concourse show car, enjoy as is for a local show/ fun driver, a fun very NICE daily driver, near perfect base for your next project.
