Used 1965 Pontiac Bonneville convertible - cars & trucks - by owner -... for sale in Decatur, AL

This is a really solid 65. It has no rust and never has had any. I have owned the car for about two years and I have made extensive upgrades. Upgrades include, NOS eight lug brake drums and brake shoes. All new light bulbs including dash lights. New antenna and AM/FM radio repair. New gas tank, new mufflers, new steering gear box. All new bushings and lower ball joints in the A arms. New tires, less than 50 miles. New springs, front and rear. New shocks, with air shocks on the rear. New fan clutch, radiator boiled out. Carburetors professionally rebuilt. Extensive wiring repairs and vacuum repairs. Rebuilt heater and dash controls. New convertible top tonneau. Pertronics electronic ignition system and tune up parts. The car is loaded with everything except AC. I have researched the vin and found that the car was born with a 389 four barrel, with 3 speed manual transmission in the floor. The original color was white with a black interior. Sometime in it's life, it was converted to a 421/375 hp. four speed car. The engine is a period correct 1965 421. Cylinder compression is 125 lbs. on all eight cylinders. All the 421 emblems are perfectly placed. Tach, vacuum gauge, and even the clock work. It rides and shifts really well. This car is a really big hit at car shows, and you can drive it anywhere. The white interior is very nice, the top is good, but not perfect. The paint is very nice, but not perfect. I have too many cars now and something has to go. I have really enjoyed driving and working on this car, it does turn heads!
