Vehicle Description
1967 Mustang Coupe.
PROS:
Motor is a 302ci from a late 60’s model. It was completely rebuilt in 2009 by AMS with new crankshaft, rods, and flat top pistons, bored 30 over, and big cam. Added Sanderson Headers and dual exhaust with flow master dual chamber mufflers with turndowns before the axel. The heads are from a fox body 5.0l that were blocked, ported, and polished. B&M Custom Transmission rebuilt the C-4 automatic transmission with a B&M Quicksilver Shifter, upgraded torque converter, and a shift kit. In 2018, Keith’s Auto added the Holly Sniper fuel injection kit with new tank, lines, and pump. The brakes were converted to Wilwood 4-wheel disk. Added a variable speed electric fan. It has an Edlebrock Performer RPM intake manifold. Fearless gear rebuilt the rear end with larger gears. The hood is a lightweight fiberglass and steal with Shelby like functional scoop. The paint is a metallic silver with a blue pearl flake. Interior is black vinyl and black carpet. Had all new shocks installed with powder coating the springs and sway bar with new bushings. Power steering, but no A/C
CONS:
It’s not a show car, but it’s reliable, fast, and loud! It would be a good start for someone to finish up. Some things it needs is new windshield, new window guides and seals. There are some minor paint chips and the front windshield trim isn’t set right.
Overall, it’s not bad for a 54 year old car. Tons of power and very fun to drive. Everyone knows yours coming and it chirps the tires into second.
