Great example of a rare 1967 Triumph GT6 MKI with only 37,600 original miles. Third owner of this rust-free and accident-free car. Saffron Yellow (originally Wedgewood Blue) with standard black interior. Matching 1998L inline 6 cylinder engine and synchromesh 4-speed transmission. Car runs strong, shifts well, and fires right up each time.

Car is stock with the following exceptions. All improvements were done to preserve the authenticity and heritage of this classic British sports car. They include:
- Stainless steel headers
- Sport stainless steel exhaust system
- TSI shocks and springs
- Accuspart electronic ignition
- Aftermarket mechanical fuel pump (original provided)

Many mechanicals were performed to sort the car out and improve the drivability of this fun little car (see photos). They include:
- Upgrading to a swing spring
- Larger sway bar (needed with swing spring)
- Oversized wheel studs
- Brakes rebuilt
- Rebuilt dual carbs
- Suspension rebuilt with poly bushings
- New engine head gasket
- New brake master cylinder
- New clutch master cylinder
- Radiator flushed and refinished
- New battery
- All fluids replaced
- And more

There are numerous minor part upgrades made to the brakes, electrical, and fuel systems all aimed at improving reliability and durability without affecting the appearance.

Moving to the exterior, I purchased a set (including spare) of wire wheels and custom painted them in a nice steel blue gray. They are mounted with Vredestein Sprint tires with excellent tread. I replaced the painted fender-mounted side mirrors with stainless steel mirrors imported from Great Britain. I also installed stainless steel wire mesh headlight covers and 100-watt auxiliary fog lights, which help with visibility and being seen.

The car has oil leaks from the oil pan area and a minor one from the differential. If you know anything about British sports cars from this era oil leaks are unfortunately common.

This car is a driver with respect to the condition of the body and paint. The paint is in good condition with numerous minor flaws. The repaint is amateur and is mismatched on the top vs. sides. The body is good with some minor dents here and there. From 10 feet the car is a looker.

Car comes with a spare mounted on wire wheel, jack, and some tools. Overall this is a presentable GT6 MKI that is ready to be enjoyed. Here are links to three documentaries I made on the GT6. You can scroll to the parts where my car is featured and ignore the rest.
