These were great cars. They were durable, reliable, long lasting vehicles and still have a dedicated following.

We purchased this classic Volvo in a group of cars, but have decided not recondition it. This Volvo is being offered AS-IS, Where-is and can either be a project or a parts car. We do not want to sell parts off it. You must take the whole car. The car is right where the tow truck dropped it. We have not evaluated the car or attempted to get it running. This is obviously not a pristine example. It has loose parts inside that should be on the outside, plus rust, mice, spiders etc. What you see is what you get.

According to the VIN plate this 122 was assembled in Canada. It seems to be a fairly standard model but does have an unidentified option code of 5144. It has been suggested that this is possibly a LSD. We are not going to investigate. If the car has some awesome, rare or valuable option that will be our loss, your gain.

The owner's books and some records are present. This Volvo was originally registered in Washington, DC then in Yadkinville, NC. It was in Danbury, NC when we bought it.

The car is currently in our storage yard, so interested folks will only be able to see it during business hours M-F 8-6. If it doesn't sell quickly online, we will bring it out front so people driving by can see it.

It is our expectation, that folks inquiring about this Volvo will be familiar with these cars. The odometer is 5 digits, so actual mileage is likely 137,519. Due to the age, it is exempt from odometer reporting and exempt from inspection. We did not get a title with the car, but are pursuing getting it just in case someone decides to try fixing it up. The condition of the car is obvious. This car doesn't work, has no warranty, does not come with a full tank of gas, will not be detailed and will not get an oil change coupon. Bring a trailer or tow truck.
