Vehicle Description
Beautiful 1968 Buick Riviera. 119,000 miles on the original engine. Original transmission. Vehicle was purchased in California in late 2015 and transported to New Orleans, Louisiana. Garage kept. No rust. No dents, no accidents. What I have done to it beginning in January, 2016: Installed a points eliminator kit (electronic ignition), changed all fluids and kept up with regular fluid changes, installed new radiator and heater hoses, new spark plugs and wires, new rear coil springs, shocks, lower control arms. Rebushed upper control arm and rear sway bar. New gaskets around doors and door windows. New alternator. complete rebuild of front end--everything! New brake booster and master cylinder. New blinker switch, new heater core (custom built by the Brassworks in California). New vacuum headlight actuator canisters. New headlight vacuum relay switch, new tires, new battery. All of this backed up with receipts.
The vehicle is firm at $24,000 cash. Certified checks will be deposited until the bank gives 100% assurance that the check is good and cleared. Then you'll get the title and keys. So, I suggest you bring cash. If interested, call show contact info and leave a message. For some reason, a lot of folks think someone has picked up the phone when it is a machine. please understand and leave a message. I will return the call later in the evening. If you want, email me at the email listed in this post.
Why am I getting rid of it? I want my garage back. I'm tired of washing it and putting money in it. I never entered car shows like I thought, and I'm tired of it.
