Vehicle Description
This car has been covered and on my car lift for 17 years and non opted since 2005!
It is a local East Bay car.
We are the third owners and the car was purchased around 1995, it was bought from a 60+ year old guy who bought it from the original owner with a fresh Blue paint job that is on the car now. The car was purchased stone stock, numbers matching 327 - 2 barrel with a power glide.
We have done the following changes and have not altered the original integrity of the car.
327 rebuilt with a mild cam with about 3,000 miles on engine...if
4 barrel with a Winters intake
350 tansmission with 3000ish miles
3/4 ceramic headers
New dual exhaust
All the sheet metal under hood black powder coated
New radiator
New heater core
Power disc brakes
Hotchkis front sway bar and dropped coils
All new neoprene bushings
All new ball joints
Billet 17"? Rally Wheels
Rear spoiler
White Rally Stripes
All new stock interior and weather stripping
Stereo in glove box
ETC...ETC...ETC....
I have ALL the original parts except for the drum brakes.
That's all I can think of off the top of my head.
Now the reason it's been on the lift for 17 years covered....
I tried to keep the stock integrity of the car, we were having a charging problem and I did not want to change it over to a one wire alternator. I got busy with other projects and never revisited the car. Because it sat for so long the crappy gas caused the gas tank to leak, so I drained it and purchased a new stock stainless steel gas tank. It has not been installed. The car could be on the road with very little work. I would change out the tank, replace all the rubber gas lines, clean or replace carb and change to a one wire alternator.
I know some of the clear coat on the paint needs attention.
This is a very nice car with a very straight straight body and no known rust.
No disappointments here!
Check out the pictures they represent the car well.
The reason I am selling it is because I need to move the car and the lift for some remodeling work in the next few weeks.
I will only show it to interested people who are really looking for a quality car and who are willing to pay a fair price for a solid car.
I have not listed a price as I am open to reasonable offers in the mid 20's, NOT stupid low ball offers.
If you can't afford it, please do not respond.
I will not respond to emails with out a phone number.
