fun to drive
it is with a heavy heart that i have decided to sell my corvair. i drive it about once or twice a week. handles the interstate well. no weird noises or anything stupid. just an all around great car. hubcaps included. you wont be disappointed. however… i will not sell it to someone wanting to part it out. you can daily drive it if you want but please understand the car is 63 years old and is all original(edit: 53 not 63 lol) there are a few things im going to point out that you should know. brake fluid has a leak on the back of the reservoir. i have to top it off once every 2 weeks or so. not an expert but id replace the seal or just the whole brake reservoir itself. the headliner is in rough shape and i have tied it together so it doesnt flop around. somethings up with the gas gauge. i dont know if its something with the sending unit or what but it wont read properly. the fan belts are notorious for flying off but i have not experienced this yet. spare belt from clarks included and other misc parts. mostly older stuff thats been replaced
rear engine rear wheel drive. air cooled. these corvairs were designed without a park gear. you must pull the e-brake and leave it in neutral. dual single carbs. one belt. flat 6 engine. no power steering and no power breaks. has points. no a/c
offers, trades, and partial cash trades welcomed my way or your way. looking for something worth a damn that hasnt been messed with. old school v8s with manual trans are where its at but im also be interested in older trucks, vans, and imports
optima battery not included
i will not hold it
thanks for looking
