This truck was purchased from Don Sanderson Ford on September 16th, 1969 in Glendale, AZ (Phoenix). This truck remained in Southern service for many years before being bought by a guy in Nebraska to restore it. It has remained in Nebraska unused for decades. I buy and restore vintage station wagons and this truck came to me in a station wagon trade. I am in the middle of restoring three vintage wagons and do not have time to give to this truck. I am very tempted and have vacillated back and forth but have decided to sell it. It starts and runs. It does not drive.

This truck wears its original paint. Also has Original Motor and Drivetrain.

Listed here is my 1969 Ford F100 4x4 Long Bed Regular Cab 4 Speed Pickup. Finished in New Lime, this truck was born as a heavy half ton with the largest payload and spring configuration possible for 1969. GVW 5600 Lbs. Outfitted with the larger 360ci V8 mated to the excellent New Process NP435 4-Speed Manual Transmission. This truck is utilizing Dana 60 spec'd 4x4 components and has a 3.56 Rear Axle Gear Ratio. This F100 was outfitted with Heavy Duty Radiator, Heavy Duty Battery, as well as Heavy Duty Shocks and Rear Springs. It came from the factory with Tinted Glass and still retains its original windshield. It is outfitted with DUAL fuel tanks.

This FORD was built with the "CUSTOM CAB" Package. The custom cab interiors offer in addition to or in place of the standard cab, deep foam seat cushion and foam padding in the seat back, woven plastic seat trim, color coordinated floor mats, custom instrument cluster, cigarette lighter, bright metal headlining retainer and door cover plate moldings. Exterior items include bright metal front bumper and grill, windshield molding and tail lamp bezels. As per the MARTI Report, the gauge cluster comes with Ammeter and Oil Pressure Gauges to indicate alternator charging rate and oil pressure at-a-glance.

This truck was used on a RANCH and the front and Rear Bumpers were changed and upgraded to a Heavy Duty Brush Guard and Winch Assembly in the front which is obviously not Factory. For some, it is cool as can be, but not my "Cup-of-Tea". It is however, very vintage and would be very useful.

Standard mirrors were not installed on this unit and Heavy Duty Western Mirrors were installed at the Dealer.

This truck has never been wrecked or needed collision repair, to my knowledge. It is however missing a few parts in the engine compartment. The Fan and Radiator are missing as well as a few parts needed to complete drivability in the engine compartment. Should be fairly easy to get her back on the road if you want to drive her as is. AC is inop, but could be made to run. Body, Cab and Bed are very nice and as good as an example of low rust as I have seen in some time for a sixties truck, but the floorpans are rusty from mats and accumulated moisture and there is a slight rust in the bottom of the fender/door that is repairable. This truck has never had body repair and is original metal, as far as I can ascertain. Undercarriage pictures available upon request .
