Used 1969 Ford Galaxie 500 XL Sportsroof for sale in Divide, CO

1969 Ford Galaxie 500 XL Sportsroof for sale. It has the 351W engine, an automatic transmission with the column shifter and an aftermarket Edelbrock 600 carburetor. The hideaway lights work as they should and it has the factory a/c package I bought this car off of eBay unseen in person from the second owner out of Nebraska in February of 2021. I drove it back home from Nebraska and enjoyed driving it for a few months. Then the water pump started leaking. I decided to go ahead and reseal the engine while doing the water pump. I got the engine most of the way torn apart and life happened. So, it is sitting in my shop torn apart. The oil pan needs to be removed, then the engine can be reassembled. I have all of the needed gaskets and seals, a new water pump and a new alternator. I also have a few other new miscellaneous parts. The body is in pretty good shape overall. It has rust around the rear wheel wells, but the rest of the body seems good. The driver's side door needs the hinge pins replaced and the window needs to be adjusted and glued back into place. Obviously the engine needs reassembled. The transmission could probably stand to be resealed as well. I replaced the shocks all the way around and also replaced the rear springs. It also has new tires. I love this car, but I am in the process of moving so taking a non-running car with me isn't ideal. I figured I would post it for sale and see if I can get it sold or traded. I can eventually find and buy another one down the road. I am asking $5000 cash for this classic car. Of course that will include everything I have for it. Anything less than that, and I think I will just keep it. I would also be interested in the following trades: a pleasure boat for water skiing & wake boarding, jet skis or possibly even a street bike (I like bobbers or even a cruiser).
