Vehicle Description
1969 Volkswagen Beetle Dune Buggy Conversion
VIN: 119677811
Mileage (showing, may not be actual): 10,956
Location: Nixa, Missouri 65714
I bought this 1969 Volkswagen Dune Buggy back in December 2021 with the intentions of going completely through it, restoring any part of it that needed it, repainting it, etc- but the fact is, I just don’t have the time for it, and I have another vehicle coming in and could use the garage space.
It’s bright yellow, and sits on off-road Toyo Open Country A/T tires that are nearly brand new. Ride wise, it feels awesome, and is super comfortable. The seats are leather, with a two tone pattern of black and yellow to match the rest of the car. It is a fiberglass body that, overall, is in good condition, along with a black painted bottom and wheel wells. It’s got a Kenwood radio with Bluetooth and USB and Sirius XM, Pandora, as well as Rockford Fosgate speakers in the back. The motor starts right up and purrs like a kitten- it sounds perfect. Driving wise- SUPER FUN. Very quick, doesn’t bounce you to death, and gets ALLLLLLL of the looks. All the buttons seem to work on it as they are supposed to, as well. The wiring under the dash seems to be relatively sorted, and pretty easy to keep track of.
The things I see could use some fixing:
- Body paint has some cracking, small chips in it along the back and slightly around the gauge (see pictures)
- It leaks oil (it’s a 1969 Volkswagen, of course it leaks oil… it would be weird if it didn’t. Good news, the literally sticks out of the back, so fixing should be simple. I included a photo of how much has leaked onto the ground since I bought it and left it to sit for a little while)
- Radio is mounted onto a piece of black painted wood. Would probably look a bit better if it was plastic or something similar. (See picture)
- Serpentine belt has a bit of a squeak at times, but not super loud and not all the time
Can do cashier’s check or cash.
It is sitting at my dealership inside in Nixa, Missouri 65714. Call/Text/PM/Comment/Smoke Signal if you want more pictures, video, FaceTime walkaround, or anything else- 417-827-8689.
Clean title in hand.
