Vehicle Description
1969 VW Baja Bug. If you are looking at this ad, it means one thing, you are interested in having a fun dual sport vehicle for both on and off road. I purchased this vehicle in 2013 and since then have gone through the entire car; electrical, new motor, front disc brakes, interior, Method Race Wheels, Bilstein Shocks (front and rear), brand new rear axles, roof rack, CB, no stereo, front race seats, stock rear bench seat, front and rear tubed bumpers, off road mirrors, side brush guards, etc. The speedometer works but the odometer is broken. The motor was built (see specs in pictures below) by Chico Performance in 2015 (1776cc) and has less than 10,000 miles on it. I have owned numerous vehicles and this baja bug attracts the most attention, it actually won 1st place in a local car show for modified class a few years ago.
