Selling a 1970 Boss 302 lime green car, has quite a few options such as fold down rear seat, shaker, tach dash, rear wing. Have owned this car for almost 20 years, not a buy and flip car.
Took a long time to acquire the parts that went into car and get some of the work performed done. Needs finishing
as you can see, vin # is on dash as well as fender aprons. Have Marti report. Not in Boss 302 registry.
This is a semi complete list of condition, work done and parts included / installed. Empty engine w/transmission set in car for transport.
Body; Ford tooling parts were used if available, following are NEW, hood (needs shaker hole cut), doors with all guts cleaned and oiled, RH LH quarters, RH LH outer wheelhouse, front valance, rear valance, bumper arms (set / 4), tail light panel, trunk lid, MCA approved rear wing, filler panel, floor pans, trunk floors, RH LH torque box, RH LH front fender aprons, battery tray. The front fenders are super nice Boss fenders, very minor work needed, purchased them as stripped and primed as shown. Lot of small items have been bead blasted and paints like hood hinges, shock tower caps, hood latch, horns. Roof needs work, quarters need final body filler and body panels need fitting.
Glass; new Carlite windshield & installation caulk, side and rear windows all good shape.
Electrical; under hood harnesses are new (some uninstalled), dash harness did not appear to be hacked up, tail light harness good shape. Original alt. w/correct pulley. Reman starter plus original D00Z started w/nice stamp.reproduction regulator. Old reproduction rev limiter.
Mechanical; standard bore D1 service block, crankshaft turned, rods have new bolts and have had big end resized, balance pads still original. New original grind reissue camshaft and new lifters. New oil pan, correct pickup, Melling oil pump and shaft, used windage tray. Heads are rebuilt. Intake bead blasted. Correct Holley D0ZF carb needing restoration. Non Boss dual diaphram reman distributor. Nice complete shaker top. Correct balancer. 4-speed is the correct RUG transmission w/correct Hurst shifter. Ready to use original factory flywheel w/factory balance untouched. New clutch and pressure plate set, new z bar and linkage. Driveshaft is untouched. 4 (Four) new in the box 15x7 Magnum 500 wheels. New fuel tank / sending unit.
Brakes are all new / reman, booster and master rebuilt, most of the front suspension is new. Rear end is the original untouched N-Case w/31 spline axles.
Cooling; new $500- Scott Drake radiator, new heater core and hoses, reman water pump with correct casting #'s. Fan is correct per research.
Car needs complete exhaust, smog system, heat shield, shaker tub and motor needs pistons. Car did have rear slats but are missing.
