Vehicle Description
Original California Rust free Boss 302. It retains its Original quarter panels, tail light panels, floor, wheel housings, roof and frame. No rust damage in the trunk area or drop offs. Does have Original Ford front fenders but not rolled. Correct Boss 302 reflective stripes. Correct date codes on Tub sheet metal with matches up with cars build date. Correct wrap around shock towers, boss only staggered shocks. Boss/shelby/cobra jet only spare tire brackets. Boss 302 reinforced exhaust hangers with correct front an rear sway bar inserts all original.
The engine block is D1ZE service replacement with original Boss 302 intake exhaust manifolds, etc. It has correct 24" FOMOCO radiator and reproduction fan shroud, and correct 5 blade fan with date codes. Carburetor is correct for 428CJ Holley not orginal Boss 302. Car has correct Rev Limiter and correct yellow top coil. Shaker is new replacement -looks nice and functions properly. Rear end in Ford 9" with 3:91 gears. Transmission top loader-big input shaft. Paint condition is driver quality with few issues at the lead line (roof seam) as it is cracked on both sides. A competent paint shop should be able to respray and blend new paint in this area if desired.
Nice turn key solid driver quality Boss 302 Mustang. Rear sports slat and shaker hood really add to the visual appeal. California body is rust free and would make an excellent base to enjoy or take to next level. Marti report and is in the Boss registry.
