•9,400 miles on frame off restoration
•Tremec 5 speed TKO
•Vintage Air Conditioning (38 degrees at idle)
•Aluminum radiator
•OEM stereo modified to have Bluetooth
•Ceramic window tint on all glass including windshield
•Ceramic coating on the entire exterior
The frame off restoration was completed back in 2016. The odometer reflects the miles since completion (9,383). This is my personal car that I have thoroughly enjoyed for quite sometime. It is very well sorted out. You can literally fly in & drive her home. The Tremec TKO transmission is absolutely amazing! With it having that 5th gear, cruising at 80mph+ is no longer an unpleasant experience. The AC blows 38 degrees at idle. The suspension is tight, brakes are great, all lights work, parking brake works, horn works. Shifts great & makes lots of power. It sounds deep & throaty with that factory big block. The upgraded dual Flowmaster exhaust gives it just the right exhaust note while cruising & at wide open throttle. The Quadrajet carb is dialed in & there are zero tuning or driveability issues. It has a monster aluminum radiator that was painted black to maintain the OEM appearance. I have been stuck in 106 degree weather, while in traffic with zero overheating. The original engine block was decked during the rebuild. I have been told there are ways to retrieve the stamp using an acid method. I have not made any attempt to verify the legitimacy of it being the original engine. The rear end is original.
The car was taken down to bare metal & the frame was put on a rotisserie. The 1/4 panels are original. The paint is PPG GM Torch Red & looks stunning. The panels are excellent, as is the undercarriage. The interior is beautiful. Overall it is an extremely nice car inside that out. That’s runs as good as it looks. It might not be Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance perfect, but you will surely take home a trophy from your local car shows. I do have the original build sheet in a protective sleeve & it will be included with the car. The fluids were just changed & everything else is up to date. This is turn key ready to go. Clean title in hand.
