I will start off with that this is one of the best Chevelle's convertibles offered for sale but needs some light finishing and it does not have the build sheet but the 396/350hp engine is the guaranteed original engine and anyone who knows stamps just a little can see that all the broach marks are clearly on the pad where the numbers are and yes, I pictured them. Bring your best numbers matching guru that you can find to authenticate all of this. The transmission and the rear end is also the originals! That said.the paint and body gaps are ready win major national shows, you have to see it! All body panels are original to the car and like I said, you have to see it! The car has 64k original miles and is evident by the 95% original interior. The original engine was pulled before the car was painted to install a brand new 454/468 so as not to put any more miles on the original engine. That motor is fresh with very little miles on it. The original motor ran fine when it was removed and was lightly freshened when pulled out to be ready when it goes back in the car. The convertible top frame was restored to be put back in and that's what needs finishing.I got a price of $2200 to have it done complete. I have every bolt, screw and parts needed and marked in bags so nothing is missing. If anything in the car was changed, then I have the originals! Even the original rear SS pad is on the car and the thin steel cables for the hood pins, YES, I have the originals! This is an AM/FM STEREO car, which is rare, and I have it and it is in gorgeous condition. I should have just installed it but the new owner will probably want to send it out to have it checked and working perfectly because I am not sure if it is working. When this car is finished it is worth a lot of money, in to the $$$ 6 digits for sure! Did you guys watch the Mecum auctions? It would have done $150k plus there! Fathom blue, 4 speed, factory gauges, black interior, white stripes.CONVERTIBLE! It doesn't get much better than this. PHONE NUMBER BELOW!
