Vehicle Description
1970 GMC K1500
Original short wheel base truck. Numbers do not match. Power steering/brakes, no A/C. 350ci engine with roller rockers, hydraulic roller lifters, mild cam, Holley Contender intake, 4 barrel Edelbrock 650cfm carb with electric choke and I have also installed a Holley fuel pressure regulator. New motor mounts at time of install. I didn’t go crazy with the build but did not buy the cheapest parts either. Everything in accessory drive was new at time of install. New Holley Frostbite aluminum radiator. Full length Patriot Exhaust headers, true dual exhaust with Magnaflow mufflers. New starter and Optima battery. New steering box and updated collapsible steering linkage with sealed u-joints (no more rag joint), chrome aftermarket tilt column. New wiring harness from the firewall forward. TH350 automatic with a billet pan backed by a NP205 transfer case. Yes the 4 wheel drive works. Seat reupholstered and carpet installed by previous owner along with a cheap stereo system. Unknown when it was repainted- quality is decent.
This is not a show truck but a reliable driver and was used as a TRUCK. Was my daily for a while and has gone on plenty of out of town fishing and hunting trips along with trips to the hardware store. Previous owner changed the gearing (said 3:10 but have never confirmed) and it cruises down the highway well. Truck originally came from Oregon, then went to Huntington Beach, CA so it does have rust in a couple of the usual spots for this body style. Odometer reads 71,7xx. New engine has about 3,000 miles on it, unknown mileage on transmission but has recently been serviced and shifts great. This truck was professionally appraised for $16k in 2015 before I updated everything under the hood(still have a copy of the appraisal report). Comes with a handful of spare parts. Current registration, title in hand. Drive it home for $18k OBO. Text preferred SevenSixZero 382-010three
