1970 Pontiac GTO Convertible, #'s matching engine in Atoll blue with white convertible top for sale. This car has been completely restored body, frame, engine, transmission, new top, suspension,wheels,brakes, and including new paint (2011-2012). Build sheet and owners manual included.The rebuild included some new sheet-metal (NOS hood and rear bumper), new interior, rebuilt 400 in.³ V-8 engine, with a Ram Air III camshaft, aluminum intake (Eldebrock Performer) and specialty carburetor (Eldebrock) 4BBL. and 3sp automatic transmission.The engine has approximately 2000 miles since rebuilt. This vehicle was first sold in Pensacola Florida and then made its way to Northern California until it was returned back to Florida and then on to Ohio since 2010. Included with the vehicle are original parts including original intake and carb. and other miscellaneous pieces. The vehicle is exceptionally clean as one would expect from California. The interior and all trim has been replaced as well as the convertible top and working mechanism. The air conditioner is a new condenser and compressor. The car is exceptionally clean inside and out including the undercarriage. The frame is painted. The vehicle has KYB gas-charged shocks all around for a smooth ride.This along with polyurethane bushings and sway bars improves the handling. The vehicle comes with front and rear sway bars, and front disc brakes. Stainless dual exhaust includes an X pipe and DynoMax turbo mufflers. An extra set of Flo Master mufflers are included. You'll find this vehicle is between a #1 and #2 condition, closer to #1 . At the time of the repaint in 2011, judge stripes as well as the front and rear spoiler were added to give the car a dramatic look.
