Vehicle Description
This is a 1971 Short Bed C10. It has been professionally lowered 3 inches in front including drop spindles and 4 in rear including shock relocation. Absolutely perfect stance with the 275/60/15s on the rear and 235/70/15s on front. It is an awesome running truck, very dependable, has never let me down. I have owned quite a few years and it is time to move on to something else. I have clean PA title in hand. It has a rebuilt 283 Small Block. You can run the casting numbers if you like, I did when I bought it. Power Steering and Power Brakes - Factory Disc Brakes in front. The truck has been converted to modern alternator and Accel electronic ignition. Aluminum Radiator, Front end was rebuilt a few years back. It also has a Turbo 400 transmission with B&M Shifter on the floor. That was also done very nicely, has an OEM steering column from a standard truck so everything looks correct. I believe the trans was also rebuilt and it certainly shifts and functions perfectly, has a shift kit too but, I cannot find the original paperwork. I will keep looking for documentation but one ride in it and you will know how great it runs, no surprises here. The rear end gaskets and seals were done, this truck does not have any substantial leaks. I would say it does not have any leaks but it is still an old truck and I do not want to make any claims I cannot prove without a doubt. Suffice to say, I have stayed on top of the maintenance and if something leaked I fixed it. It is not a tire melting racecar, it just runs excellent! The wheels are original steelies that have been powder coated in white. The rear wheels have been old school modified, they are 10 inches wide. Custom bent Dual exhaust that runs all the way to the rear bumper with Flow Master mufflers sounds awesome! All lights and gauges work as they should, the Sun Tach is column mounted and the needle bounces a little bit (minor - probably a ground). The tires are in excellent condition. It has a modern stereo that accepts an ipod or similar audio device but, retains the original look and has all new speakers. The interior is very nice with no tears or holes. I do not need to sell it and it is not a show truck. The bed has been well used but does not have any rust through, NO HOLES). Has a tonno cover in excellent condition. Now here are the flaws, has a little rust, 1 spot around the driver side rear wheel well, spots on drivers rocker and spot above driver sun-visor (I have a repair panel for that) and that is pretty much it. It is a very cool and awesome running dependable hotrod. I would say too nice to call a ratrod but you can decide. Price is firm but I would negotiate for a trade of appropriate value or cash in hand. That said, do not waste my time or yours. I will not negotiate over email, if you want to see the truck let me know, if you have a trade send pics before we meet. This is truly nice toy, not perfect but very cool and very dependable. You must come to see the truck, I will not be travelling needlessly.
