1971 Chevrolet Corvette Coupe. A very nice example of a true time capsule with under 2,700 original documented miles. This Corvette was purchased new at Spicer Chevrolet in Neosha, Missouri by a collector car enthusiast on August 25,1971 for his personal collection. The car was sold from his estate to a dealer who sold it to the second owner in New York State. I purchased from the second owner. Options include the original 350/270 HP with a turbo hydromatic 400 transmission, power steering, power brakes, air conditioning that blows cold, AM/FM radio. This Corvette includes all original hoses, belts, tires, exhaust, with exception of a few hose clamps, air cleaner and battery (the caps and vent hoses have never been replaced). Mostly original lacquer paint, some of the original lacquer paint was touched up at Spicer Chevrolet when the car was purchased new due to common imperfections from factory. Paint is showing only a few minor imperfections that come with time; still extremely nice and would not need to be repainted. Dealership installed undercoating.Original Raised white letter tires,wheels and beauty bands come with the sale of car and also a set of BF Goodrich Radial tires and PO2 hubcaps currently on the car now for maintenance miles. Some work has been done to the car including a re-cored radiator with Dewitt's 4 core copper utilizing original side tanks, rebuilt master cylinder, brakes have been flushed and calipers replaced with stainless sleeved. Documentation includes the original window sticker that has never been removed from the driver side window, bill of sale, Protecto plate, and original owner's manual, comprehensive dealer paperwork including seat shims with pouch, unopened license plate hardware and original key punch outs. Also included are the bank loan documents from the original owner. This corvette runs and drives like it was brand new as expected with a low mileage car.
