Vehicle Description
1971 Ford Mustang Mach 1 - California Car - 351ci Cobra Jet V8 - Automatic Transmission - Tastefully Modified - True Mach 1 - Willwood Disc Brakes - American Racing Wheels - Light Pewter Metallic Over Black Interior As one of the most recognizable automobiles ever produced, the Ford Mustang has crea ted its own place in automotive history. Initially debuting in 1964 for the 1965 model year, the Mustang is currently the longest-produced Ford car nameplate and is still being manufactured today. The Mach 1 was one of the Mustang models that offered a little extra performance and styling than the base Mustang. Some of the standard features included: SportsRoof body style with the unique 05 included in the VIN code, 63R body code on the door tag, honeycomb grille in black which included sportslamps, bright trim at the lower body paint line, and unique pop open gas cap to name a few. One of the most distinguishable features of the 1971-1973 Mach 1s is the hood design which included dual scoops. Presented here is a 1971 Ford Mustang Mach I which hails from California. Displayed in a light pewter metallic paint with a black interior and accents, this Mustang is quite sharp. The aftermarket American Racing wheels provide a touch of chrome that compliment the metallic paint and go right along with the performance look and feel of the car. Adding another bit of a performance look is the Mach I stripe package that runs along both sides of the vehicle. A rear spoiler, front spoiler, the aforementioned hood scoops, and Mach 1 badging are other highlights that give this cars performance aspirations away. Powering this beast of a Mustang is a 351ci Cobra Jet V8 that has been paired with an automatic transmission. The engine bay is tidy and includes a few nice upgrades such as, Mallory ignition, dry cell battery, Wilwood master cylinder, and an aluminum radiator. Wilwood Drilled brake discs and calipers can be seen between the spokes of the American Racing wheels
